Examples of recent projects
National Redress Scheme for survivors of institutional child sexual abuse – In 2017 we designed and completed developmental research on this sensitive topic with CALD stakeholders across five States (NSW, QLD, SA, VIC, WA) and provided recommendations to guide the CALD communication approach for the establishment and promotion of the scheme. Now in 2018 we are working closely with the Department of Social Services to prepare CALD communication materials for the scheme, including community consultation throughout development of the materials.
Department of Home Affairs – In 2017 we provided national CALD media and community engagement services to raise awareness of the 1 October deadline for Temporary Protection Visa (TPV)-holders to lodge a claim for protection. A strong response was evident in media coverage gained and action taken by the target audience. Now in 2018, we are providing further CALD media and community engagement services to reach TPV holders who will soon to apply for a further visa.
NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission – Designed and completed developmental research with CALD disability stakeholders, and provided recommendations to guide the CALD communication approach for the establishment of the Commission.

Now in 2018 we are working with the Department to plan and deliver a community and media engagement campaign to raise awareness of the services and support available to UNCs in resolving their visa status.
